Who those who loves the ExS – fastest WordPress themes and also loves the Classic Editor plugin we made an options to make the ExS theme even faster:
If you’re not using a new Gutenberg block editor and prefer a Classic editor plugin you can now disable the ExS Gutenberg styles and the default WordPress block library CSS styles to reduce your CSS assets on more than 50kB.
This options are available starting from ExS theme version 1.3.9.
To do that you can go to your Customizer -> ExS theme options -> Theme Layout. Then scroll down to the very bottom of the options panel and check the ‘Not load Gutenberg Block Editor Theme CSS styles‘ and the ‘Disable Gutenberg Block Editor default CSS styles‘ checkboxes.
This will allow to decrease your CSS assets styles size and reduce the number of the HTTP requests to your site and will make your site even faster.
Don't forget that this action will disable the Gutenberg Block editor styling for whole site so any content that is built with the Gutenberg editor will be unstyled. So please use this option only if you're using the Classic Editor plugin for your site
